Owning one luxurious property on the Gold Coast would make anyone’s dreams come true but winning three takes living the life of a millionaire to a whole new level.

After selling out the last draw, the RSL Art Union has come back with another fabulous prize package. This time, it’s a residential complex in Bundall that has three villas and is worth a cool $3.3 million. This upscale community is just a few kilometres to the west of Surfer’s Paradise and ideally located to enjoy the best of life on the coast. Each home is a self-contained beauty with three bedrooms, a couple of lounges, and a great outdoor living space. As always, they come fully furnished and equipped with top-of-the-line electricals.

Owning three properties means you have the potential to stop working and live off your rental income. You could move into one villa and rent the other two or lease out all three for an estimated $145,600 a year. That’s pretty good money for the effort of living the dream in one of the most sought-after communities on the coast.

Along with the three properties, you’ll get $15,000 in gold bullion to cover the first year of rates and fees, and a $2,000 travel voucher to get you there. That’s a pretty sweet grand prize, so get your tickets early because you can be sure this one will sell out as well.

A Life of Leisure on the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast is comprised of dozens of coastal and hinterland communities, and Bundall is one of the prettiest. It’s far enough away from the bustle of Surfer’s to have its own distinct vibe but still on the doorstep of all the famous beaches and attractions. You could soon be one of the four and a half thousand people that call this part of the world home and enjoy an unparalleled lifestyle as a resident of Bundall.

If you like to golf, you couldn’t pick a better home. The Southport Golf Club is literally across the road and is only one of a handful of greens within easy driving distance (no pun intended). The prize home sits on a corner lot in a small cluster of houses that’s only about three blocks wide. On the opposite side to the golf course is the Southport raceway, just across a tributary of the Nerang River. You’ll feel like you live in a little oasis, surrounded by greenspace with the Surfer’s Paradise skyline on the far horizon.

The Gold Coast is a magnet for surf athletes, even if your idea of exercise is reaching for the sunscreen. Whether you like to paddle under your own steam or prefer the hum of an engine beneath your feet, there’s no end of things to do when you live this close to the ocean. Surf, fish, sail, jet ski, swim or just laze around and people-watch from any of the dozens of beaches than run all the way down to New South Wales.

If you love the serene sights and sounds of the rainforest, it will take you a lifetime to explore the hinterland that surrounds the Gold Coast. Climb Tamborine Mountain, feed the birds, and treat yourself to a little wine-tasting to top off a perfect day. Many of the protected areas have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites, and it’s not hard to see why. The scenery is breathtaking, the views majestic, and it’s all within a short journey from your front door.

Marine life is just as accessible, with several parks in the area where you can play with the dolphins, feed the penguins, or get up close to several different types of seals. Whale watching has also become hugely popular, especially during the annual humpback migration when you can see the little ones playing alongside their massive parents.

There’s plenty to get your heart racing as well if you’re into amusement parks and roller coasters. There are dozens of entertainment options from huge water parks to petting zoos and rides for the kiddies. The nice thing about being a resident of the Gold Coast is that you can take in as much (or as little) of the hype as you want. Spend a day playing tourist and then retreat to your private alfresco and enjoy a cold one poolside.

Because of its popularity with visitors from around the globe, the Gold Coast has nurtured a host of fine dining establishments that are second to none. Whether you’re looking for traditional Aussie fare or something a bit more exotic, you’ll find it all up and down the Coast. There’s local produce in the open-air markets, fresh seafood by the docks, and cuisine that ranges from traditional French to decidedly unexpected fusion. Bartenders will try do outdo each other with their signature drinks, and the local bakeries are sinfully enticing. Wouldn’t it be nice to make sampling the local fare your new full-time job?

A Luxury-Laden Trifecta

The prize villas in RSL draw #354 were only completed in 2017. They’re on a corner lot with villa 1 (the executive villa) on the outside edge with entry through the rear of the property. Villas 2 and 3 have their access at the front and are mirror images of each other. They share a driveway, and each has a two-car garage.

The three homes fit seamlessly together in a complex that features modern architecture, clean lines, and unique accents. A discreet privacy wall encircles the property and is lined with tasteful landscaping. Each villa has its own private swimming pool, alfresco, BBQ, and outdoor seating area.

The executive villa is slightly larger than the other two, but all have comparable floor plans. The main level of all three features a wide-open living, dining and kitchen area that leads directly onto the outdoor deck. There you’ll find a large al fresco with a separate seating area, which is configured slightly differently and extends to the side of the home for the executive villa. Upstairs, each home has three bedrooms and villas 2 and 3 have a balcony off one of the secondary bedrooms. There’s a full ensuite off all three master bedrooms, and the executive villa has ensuites off the other two rooms as well. There’s also a second-floor retreat in all villas, providing a cozy alternative to the lounge downstairs.

The interior design pairs a white décor with natural wood pieces including wooden stair treads and furnishings. Accent tones are provided by adding black, gold and green touches throughout the rooms. The ensemble is chic, lavish, and comfortably elegant.

Thank You for Your Support

The RSL Art Union lottery draw #354 is extra special because it commemorates the hundred years that have passed since the end of the First World War. The lottery pays tribute to the sacrifice of those who served, not only in the Great War but in all the other times of conflict that have arisen in the intervening years.

Proceeds from the RSL lotteries go towards supporting Australia’s returned servicemen and women. This includes emergency financial assistance, counselling, and other services that our veterans need as they return home. We thank you for your support and wish you the very best of luck in the upcoming draw.
