A Home in the Hinterland

When you’re done with your day of exploring the rainforest, swimming at the waterfall or sampling a flight of craft beers in the village, you’ll be coming home to a spectacular property just minutes from Main Street in Montville. The first thing you’ll notice is the thought that’s gone into creating this classic Queenslander including authentic touches like a wrap-around veranda and shuttered windows. It’s all designed to evoke an era when life was a little more sedate and people had the time to enjoy the beauty of their surrounds.

Inside, the home is a showpiece of clean white walls, timbered floors and warmly accented furnishings. All four bedrooms are roomy, and the master has a lovely tiled ensuite with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. A wall of glass doors opens from the master onto the back veranda alongside the alfresco. You’ll love the modern four-poster bed that, like the rest of the décor, blends contemporary styling with a traditional Queenslander design.

The outdoor theatre is definitely one of the home’s best features with a wall-sized screen that lets you enjoy your favourite movie on the back veranda. Its twin is on the other side of the wall in the media room, giving you the option of watching indoors if you prefer. Other comforts include a fireplace in the living room, a wet-bar in the media room, and a private study with a door leading onto the front veranda. The garage can be accessed from inside and provides secure parking for two vehicles.

With its professionally landscaped lot, gourmet kitchen and classy appliances, you’ll find this home has everything you need to enjoy your new millionaire lifestyle in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast.
